On November 18, 2010, at approximately 3:15 AM, an unknown male, possibly Hispanic, walked into the AM/PM at Louise and I5 in Lathrop and demanded money from the clerk at gun point.

He is described as approximately 5'-10" tall, weighing approximately 180 lbs.

He was wearing a black hoodie with red t-shirt underneath, dark blue beanie, black gloves, sunglasses, khaki pants, and black shoes.

The suspect vehicle was described as a brown colored box style vehicle, possibly a station wagon.

LATHROP - A 22-year-old man who had arranged to meet someone in Lathrop on Thursday afternoon to buy two laptop computers was shot twice, once in each leg, by the supposed seller.

 

According to the Sheriff's Office, the victim had responded to a craigslist ad advertising the computers and had agreed to pay $3,000. He arranged to meet the seller at a home in the 14000 block of Avon Drive at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

 

The victim drove from Sacramento and was waved down near the home by a man who asked him if he was there to buy the laptops. When the victim said he was, the man pulled a gun and demanded his money. The victim leapt at the gunman, who shot him once in his right leg. As they struggled the victim was shot again, in his left leg, but managed to wrest the gun from the robber, who ran away.

 

Witnesses told investigators the robber was a black man about 22 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 175 pounds. He was wearing a dark plaid shirt and jeans, and drove away in a white vehicle.

 

The victim was treated at a hospital for his injuries, which the Sheriff's Office said were not life-threatening.

On 6-26-08, 1200 hrs to 1640 hrs, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a residence by breaking a ground level window on back side of the home.

Suspect(s) stole a gun safe which contained 6 rifles, $6000 cash and jewelry.

Possible suspect:   White/Male, 5’10”, 170 red hair in ponytail, red thick handle bar style mustache.

This suspect was seen in the area performing yard maintenance type duties.
